Eltham.com has been running a bit low on web space lately and as a result I have had to cut back a few albums. The Barclay reserve semi final 2008 day1 (550 files,156.91 Meg) and Barclay reserve semi final 2008 day2 (316 files 56.85 Meg) albums were the main offenders. As a result I have been ruthless and removed all large files from these albums, leaving only thumbs and crappy, low resolution medium sized images for reference. It is a shame I had to do that because there was a lot of my favorite shots amongst them, but when I originally threw them up I never sorted through them (800 images) and there was just way too many. Anyway I may get around to picking out my favorites and putting them back one day.
This is not intended to be a match report, I am simply throwing up some photos I took (day two) of the match.
I was too busy to attend on Saturday and the following photos were taken after Eltham had bowled approximately half a dozen overs on Sunday. Diamond Creek had passed 200 and Jarrod Williams, of Diamond Creek had just made his century.
Eltham gained, what could be, a valuable extra ten overs by bowling Diamond Creek out for 294 runs after 109.4 overs. Everybody's bowling figures looked very respectable considering the size and pace of the ground, Eltham also exchanged a strike bowler for an extra bat which makes the 294 very achievable. At the close of play Eltham are 1/59 after 50.0 overs, with 80 overs to play with this coming Saturday.
I think they are in a great position to win this game and I hope they do.
ALBUM HERE (sorry I made them a bit contrasty when I batch edited them)
